The chief financial officer of Lithuanian supermarket chain Maxima LT, Kęstutis Gailius, is to move to sister company Emperia Holding in Poland.
The Polish company, acquired by Maxima Grupė last year, operates supermarket chain Stokrotka, among other real estate and IT enterprises.
In July 2016, Kęstutis Gailius intially joined Maxima LT as the director of the commerical analysis department. He then went on to become the CFO of the company.
“We believe that Kęstutis’ work experience and competence will contribute to the successful integration of Emperia Holding and ensure smooth cooperation between the teams,” said chairman of the board and CEO of Maxima Grupė, Dalius Misiūnas.
“An opportunity to take up such a responsible role in [the] dynamic Polish retail market is an interesting and valuable professional challenge,” said Gailius, who has worked in the financial sector for 15 years.
