Lithuanian retailer Maxima Grupė has opened a renovated Maxima X store in Sadovņikova Street in Riga, Latvia.
The retailer invested €300,000 in renovating the store to ensure a convenient and modernised shopping experience for customers.
Maxima Latvija board member, Kristīne Āboltiņa, explained, "We have introduced the latest solutions in technical equipment and interior design to the fully rebuilt and modernised premises, ensuring a pleasant work environment for the store employees and comfortable shopping for customers."
The store, located in a residential area, will offer customers the option to purchase products for daily needs as well as special occasions.
The 166 square-metre store offers the Meistara Marka range of to-go meals, a large assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables, and a host of other products.
Other Store Launches
It is the first of the five new stores that the retailer plans to launch this month in the country. Four other outlets are scheduled to open in Rūjiena, Daugavpils, and Riga on 19 December.
Maxima has invested more than €1.5 million in the five stores, which will create 53 new jobs.
Maxima Latvija Board Member, Kristīne Āboltiņa, said, "We are pleased to open five stores in this festive period, treating our customers to new, modern and beautiful stores in which they can purchase both the products they require for their Christmas dinner and gifts for their friends and relatives."
