Swiss retail chain Migros has announced that the construction of its ultra-modern Migros Bruggen branch, on Fürstenlandstrasse in St. Gallen (Switzerland) is progressing as planned.
The new store, which is scheduled to open in the autumn of 2017 will have a retail area of around 980 square metres.
Discount supermarket Denner is to open an outlet at the same location. The Denner outlet will occupy around 426 square metres of retail space.
Two additional floors of the new building will feature 22 apartments, which will be available for rent at around the same time as the supermarkets are to open.
According to the company, Migros' investment in the St. Gallen location amounts to around 35 million Swiss francs.
