Migros Churwalden has announced that it has appointed Gjylijeta Pajazitaj as the new manager of its branch, located in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland.
Gjylijeta Pajazitaj has been working for Migros since she finished her retail apprenticeship; so far, she has worked as a sales manager, non-food specialist, part-time non-food manager and deputy branch manager.
"My goal is to establish Migros Churwalden as an integral part of the community and to offer the customers fresh products every day. The biggest challenge is to meet the seasonal demands of the customers,” said the new branch manager.
She added, "I am looking forward to taking full responsibility for the branch, the staff and the development of the company."
The Churwalden branch, which serves the local community as well as holidaymakers, employs ten people. For its location, the store uses a landmark building, which has a distinctive wooden structure and doubles as a bus station.
