In association with Swiss trade organisations, Swiss retail group Migros has developed a series of 'Weiterbildung’ (further education) programmes, which enable participants to gain internationally recognised qualifications and certificates.
Between 2013 and 2015, ‘Klubschule Migros’ has enabled 22,000 participants - referred to as ‘Generation M’ - to graduate from language courses, as well as courses in Management, IT and Health & Design.
The ‘Weiterbildung’ concept includes personal as well as professional development. The over 600 courses and seminars provided by the Migros Club Schools today are available to all and designed to promote the principle of life-long learning.
Online tests, which are provided as a free service, attract around 180,000 users per year from a predominantly professional background.
