Migros Ostschweiz is set to commence operations at the new Neuwiesen shopping centre in Winterthur on January 3.
This is ahead of the opening of a second floor of the centre in April of this year.
Migros will operate a temporary retail space in the intervening period, while the centre, which was last renovated in 2002, is updated.
The upstairs area of the centre, which includes a Migros restaurant and M-Electronics store, will open on 1 April.
Work on the entire shopping centre is expected to be completed by September 2019.
