Staff at Morrisons have complained to their new boss over dull playlists on the shop floor, which has lead to a change.
According to reports, staff said that the loop of in store tunes were repetitive and dull, and as a result, Morrisons CEO David Potts has introduced almost 9,000 new songs to the UK supermarket’s playlist.
Potts revealed that, "Our staff told us that music in our stores was getting a bit tired. We want to listen and make shopping and working with Morrisons a better experience. That includes coming to this new musical arrangement with our colleagues and customers."
The new Morrisons compilation, which the store said is designed to appeal to the masses, includes tracks from Beyonce, The Cure, U2 and Texas.
