Morrisons, the UK retail giant has just launched Morrisons Live, a new in-store sampling and experiential initiative that is geared towards its suppliers.
According to Event Magazine, the Morrisons Live team aim to help suppliers promote their brands with the use of new sampling stands that are equipped with hot sampling equipment such as ovens, microwaves and hobs.
The campaign has been developed in response to supplier feedback and existing experimental trends.
Event Magazine reported that Liam Dixon, Group Account Director at top brand agency N2O said, "The sampling channel is the ideal medium for brands to reach Morrisons shoppers at the point of purchase. With Morrisons Live, we can now speak to customers in a relevant and brand-friendly way."
