British grocery retailer Morrisons has made two new appointments to its Board.
The supermarket has appointed Rooney Anand to the Remuneration, Nomination and Corporate Compliance and Responsibility Committees. Anand has taken on the role of senior independent director.
Paula Vennells has been appointed to the Audit, Remuneration, Nomination and Corporate Compliance and Responsibility Committees.
Anand and Vennells joined the Board this month.
Morrisons announced a 0.2 per cent Christmas sales growth on January 12th.
In the same week, the supermarket announced the appointment of Andy Atkinson as group marketing and customer director.
