UK retailer Marks & Spencer has announced that it will roll out grocery staples at affordable prices under its ‘Remarksable’ everyday prices campaign.
The campaign, scheduled to launch on 18 August, will see the retailer introduce around 240 of its quality range of grocery staples at competitive prices.
It will include, among others, bread, milk, cheese, eggs, salmon and mince.
Marketing director of M&S Food, Sharry Cramond, commented, “We want both our existing customers and new customers to see that whilst we won’t compromise on our high-quality standards, our Remarksable campaign shows we can deliver great products at fantastic value."
The Campaign
The retailer launched the ‘Remarksable’ campaign in 2019 in a bid to engage with customers on its trusted value and quality and encourage them to do fuller, more regular purchases at M&S.
M&S Food has spent months developing a bigger and better range of quality food products that are available at a ‘fantastic’ price as part of its transformation strategy to ‘protect the magic and modernise the rest.’
'Upgrading Our Quality'
Managing Director of M&S Food, Stuart Machin, added, “We have spent the past 18 months continuously upgrading our quality and at the same time investing in price and now customers can see the result as 240 key staple items are the most competitively priced in recent history.
“We will never compromise on our quality but our strategy is to maintain our high sourcing standards whilst providing truly better value for customers and our early work is already starting to resonate."
