Neal Austin To Lead Morrisons' Online Push

Morrisons' group logistics & supply chain director, Neal Austin, is to lead the development of the retailer's online grocery business, according to reports.

The restructuring of management at Morrisons will also see retail director Mark Harrison taking up the position of group manufacturing director, while Martyn Fletcher will become retail director. Harrison has been at Morrisons for more than 30 years, having joined the retailer as a management trainee in 1980.

The rejig comes just weeks after the exit of Scott Weavers-Wright, who was was appointed in March to develop Morrisons' online offering. Weaver-Wright was appointed prior to Morrison's agreement with Ocado in May to manage the retailer's e-commerce operations for a January 2014 grocery deliveries launch. (24 June)
