BWG Group, Nielsen, Tesco Labs and P&G are just some of the high-calibre businesses lined up to speak at next week's Checkout Conference in Dublin, Ireland.
Speakers lined up for the eagerly-anticipated Checkout Ireland event in Dublin city centre include Leo Crawford, Group Chief Executive, BWG Group - now the new owners of the Londis brand in the country; Nick Lansley, head of open innovation, Tesco Labs; David Cotter, country manager, P&G Ireland; Mike Hemingway, award-winning global branding expert; John David Roeg, senior analyst on consumer foods, Rabobank International; Robert Gregory, global research director, Planet Retail; Mike Watkins, head of retailer and business insight, Nielsen; and Eamonn Quinn, Dragon's Den investor and retail entrepreneur.
Taking place on Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 at the InterContinental Hotel (formerly the Four Seasons Hotel) in Dublin, this year's conference theme is ‘The Time Is Now’.
The retail industry event will analyse where the challenges and opportunities lie for retail grocery businesses, against an economic background that is now showing signs of recovery. At the same time, with ‘value’ remaining key for consumers, how can retailers and branded suppliers best position themselves for growth in the coming year? And of course, in line with the explosion in ownership of hand-held mobile devices, how retail technology is changing the face of grocery shopping today.
The Checkout Conference is the longest-running Irish conference for the grocery retail and FMCG industries, and is considered a ‘must-attend’ event for top-level executives in the trade, both due to the high calibre of speakers, and its status as a premium networking opportunity.
The 2015 Checkout Conference, in association with Rabobank, takes place on Tuesday January 27th at the InterContinental Hotel, Dublin (formerly the Four Seasons Hotel).
