Norwegian retail group NorgesGruppen has announced that it is appointing Dina R. Thune as its new HR director, effective 1 January 2018.
Thune has 25 years experience in the grocery industry, having held various positions at Maarud, Kraft and Iastly. Most recently, she was managing director of Mondelez International in Norway.
She is set to replace Edel Kalstad, who is retiring at the end of this year.

"We are very excited to get Dina on the team," said NorgesGruppen CEO Runar Hollevik.
"With her broad management experience in the grocery industry, Dina will be a positive contributor to further developing NorgesGruppen as the industry's most attractive workplace."
NorgesGruppen reported that sales increased 8.1% to NOK 41.77 billion in the first half of 2017. The company operates Kiwi, Meny, Spar and Joker stores throughout Norway, and has a 27.2% market share.
