Norway’s Orkla Group has appointed Jeanette Hauan Fladby as the new executive vice-president of its confectionery and snacks business.
Fladby succeeds Ann-Beth Freuchen, who will now be in charge of Orkla Foods (Nordics and Baltics).
Fladby will take up her new role on 1 October 2018. Previously, she was the CEO of Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Norge.
An Experienced Professional
Fladby is a veteran in the company and has held various managerial positions since joining the group in 1995.
“I am very pleased that Jeanette has accepted the offer to become head of Orkla Confectionery & Snacks and a member of the group executive board. Jeanette has solid leadership experience, strong professional skills in marketing and category development, and a business background that makes her the right person for the job,” said Peter A. Ruzicka, Orkla's president and CEO.
Fladby also previously held the role of marketing director and category director at Stabburet, which is now known as Orkla Foods Norge.
From 2010 to 2015, she was the CEO of the company's garment wing, Pierre Robert Group.
Orkla Confectionery & Snacks is a market leader in the confectionery, biscuits and snacks categories, with companies in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia and Estonia, with Norway as its biggest single market.
