Italian cooperative retailer Nova Coop has opened a new superstore in Giaveno (Turin), the second outlet to feature a new store format launched by the company.
Located on Via Cartiera 4/a, the Giaveno superstore has a sales area of 2,033 square meters, a car park with 240 parking spaces and employs 75 staff.
Store Features
The new outlet is inspired by the concept of 'Presto e Bene' (Fast and Good), which aims to offer a rewarding and simple shopping experience to consumers in line with their needs.
The store also features an eco-friendly component, in keeping with the retailer's commitment to sustainability. It boasts a comprehensive BMS system (Building Management System), which enables it to reduce power consumption and save energy. In addition, lighting is powered by LED.
The supermarket was designed by the Cogefa Studio, with support from Nova Coop's planning team.
Digital Facilities
A number of digital in-store facilities will guide customers during their shopping experience, enabling them to access more information about products, saving them time in the process.
The store offers the 'Zero Attesa Gastronomia' (Zero Waiting Gastronomy) service, which enables shoppers to select and reserve products through a touch screen totem.
Moreover, a number of monitors will help customers to find products easily and quickly.
According to Ernesto Dalle Rive, president of Nova Coop, the retailer wants to offer a new sales model which enables it to produce shared value for the entire community.
