Russian retailer O'Key Group S.A. has announced the appointment of Sergey Shadrin as its new supply chain director.
He will succeed Bojan Barišík, and will be responsible for modernising and improving logistics and supply chain management of the retail group.
Shadrin will report to the group CEO, Armin Burger.
An Industry Veteran
Shadrin is an industry veteran and has extensive experience in food retail supply chain management.
He started his career in 1999 as a planning supervisor with Danone in Moscow, and worked his way up to the position of operations performance director.
He held several executive positions in the company for 14 years, and was in charge of overseeing supply chain and logistics operations in Russia, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, and the CIS (The Commonwealth of Independent States).
From 2017 to 2019, he served as the supply chain director at Auchan in Moscow.
He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and an MBA degree from Vlerick Business School in Belgium.
