Italian grocery retail group Pam Panorama has introduced a new 'metro' store format.
The first Pam Metro store has opened in Vicenza and features an assortment focused on new food trends to meet the needs of its customers. These include organic, ethnic and vegan products as well as a wide assortment dedicated to those who suffer from food intolerance or those who prefer Italian quality products with certificated origin.
In addition, consumers can find all the group's private label products: such as Pam Panorama (everyday products); Fresche Bontà (prepared meals); Tesori (gourmet products); Semplici e Buoni (lactose-free, gluten-free, low-fibre, and fibre-rich products); Bio and Arkalia, the group's body care line.
As part of the retailer’s commitment to reducing waste, the Pam Metro format offers single-portion products to enable customers to avoid food waste, a 50% discount on all products that are nearing their end date. In addition, the retailer does not publish flyers to reduce consumption of paper and apply lower prices every day.
