German discounter Penny is highlighting its ties with local communities in its new marketing campaign, 'Willkommen Nachbarscahft'.
Over the last few years, every Penny store has attached a local name affixed its banner, to strengthen its stores' relationships with local customers.
As part of the new campaign, a billboard will be installed in every store to improve the dialogue between the store and its customers. The idea is to give customers the chance to ask questions, to give suggestions and to offer criticisms, which the team in the store will answer as soon as possible.
The billboard will also be used to provide information about Penny's sustainability project, 'Penny's Grüne Welt'.
