Portuguese retailer Pingo Doce has expanded its meal delivery service with Takeaway.com, following the closure of its restaurants due to the coronavirus.
Using the service, meals can now be delivered to the Lisbon suburbs of Telheiras, Benfica, Alvalade, Lumiar, Campo Grande, Alameda and Bela Vista, as well as the centre of the city.
Outside of Lisbon, the service is also available in Odivelas, the Jerónimo Martins-owned retailer said.
Deliveries are made from Pingo Doce restaurants are of charge, and include a range of traditional Portuguese meals, as well as a selection of drinks and soups.
In line with health and safety measures, the retailer said that payment is required in advance of any deliveries, with orders placed on a customer's doorstep.
