Portuguese food retailer Sonae MC has launched a new supermarket format focused on a healthy lifestyle.
The first Go Natural supermarket opened on 6 December, on Avenida 5 de Outubro, in Lisbon. The new unit, with a retail sales area of about 350 square metres, includes a supermarket, boasting approximately 4,000 SKUs and a restaurant.
At the supermarket, customers will find a wide range of healthy, organic and dietary products, specific ingredients appropriate for people with food intolerances, as well as supplements, vitamins and sports nutrition, with an extended range proposition and the ambition to offer the best price in the market.
The Go Natural restaurant offers customers functional juices, soups, salads (low carb and other grains), pastas, sushi, in addition to hot meals and a salad bar where customers can create their own salad.
On occasion of the launch, customers can benefit from a 10% discount on the Continente loyalty card for every purchase made between now and 18 December.
