Retail real estate firm Lar España has achieved a net profit of €43.3 million during the first half of 2016, more than double of the €19.3 million recorded for the same period last year.
As reported by revistainforetail.com, this has resulted from favourable trends in rental revenues which have totalled €26.9 million, 90% more compared to the first half of 2015.
The company has attributed the increase to the acquisition of new assets over the past 12 months, as well as a series of improvements made to its management.
Sales in shopping centres owned by Lar España grew by 12.5% from January to June 2016, compared to the same period in 2015.
