Germany's Rewe Group has announced that it will provide free coronavirus self-tests to its employees.
The retailer will provide the test to more than 250,000 employees in Germany working for its various banners, including Rewe, Penny, toom Baumarkt, DER Touristik Group, among others.
CEO of Rewe Group, Lionel Souque, said, "We welcome the agreement between the German government and the leading business associations.
"Therefore, we at REWE Group will provide our more than 250,000 employees with free self-tests as soon as possible, which they can use voluntarily. In this way, we are supporting the testing strategy of the federal and state governments."
