Russian Retailer Dixy Group Develops New Logo

Russian retailer Dixy Group has developed a new logo, to be used in all communications and as a 'quality mark' on private-label packaging.

The new logo, created by Fitch Design, still uses the Russian letter D but has added colours and graphic elements of the Group's Victoria and Megamart brands.

"The decision to develop the Group logo has been taken as part of the Division's synergy-enhancement programme. Its appearance is a step towards creating a corporate brand, respected in international markets and an affirmation of our unified management,"said Pedro Pereira da Silva, President of Dixy Group.

"Dixy Group has common goals – to be a secure employer, a high-quality retailer, a conscientious partner, a rational user of natural resources, and a trustworthy member of society."

Dixy Group is one of Russia’s leading retailers of foods and home wares. The first Dixy store opened in 1999, in Moscow. The company currently operates 2,762 stores in the Central, Northwestern, Volga and Ural districts of Russia and in the Kaliningrad region. It employs more than 60,000 people.
