Russian retailer Dixy Group has announced a new management board, with the departure of Pedro Pereira da Silva, Julio Marques Duarte and Juan Giralt Silva.
Sergey Belyakov has been named the general director of Dixy Group, while Alexander Komissarov is the director of the Megamart division, Olge Zhunikov is director of the Victoria division, Artem Afanasiev is general counsel and Vasiliy Bulatov is director of the assets protection department.
In addition, Dixy Group has also announced that it is rolling out new model checkout terminals in its stores, with over two hundred such devices installed in the Moscow region in a two-day period, and up to one thousand expected to be installed by the end of the month.
The new terminals are in line with Federal Law No. 54-FZ, which requires them to send receipt data to the Federal Tax Service in online mode.
“The project allows to increase market transparency and reduce annual checkout terminal costs. First, it becomes possible for both the business and Federal Tax Service authorities to see all transactions without delay in real time; second, customers will be able to check any of their receipts online,” said a Dixy Group spokesperson.
