Spanish grocer El Corte Inglés will stock products from French cosmetic chain Sephora in all its supermarkets with a beauty department by the end of the year, according to Expansion.com.
Sephora has 121 sales points, 64 of which situated in El Corte Inglés shops. Francisco Álvarez Etxegarai, Sephora's chief executive said El Corte Inglés supermarkets are an ideal selling ground for the products due to the high amount of tourist shoppers.
Sephora will also remodel its older concessions in El Corte Inglés stores, between eight and ten per year, and add four new concessions.
The executive officer said that Sephora's differentiating proposal is based in the experience of consumer and seller interaction. The goal, he said, is to build a friendly relationship with clients to create a link so that they decide to come back.
