Serbian supermarket chain Idea has introduced what it describes as 'healthy' cash tills, which display organic products in order to promote a healthy diet and habits of consumers.
These special cash registers will initially be available at three Idea stores in the capital Belgrade.
Another novelty introduced by Idea is the possibility of consumers picking their own fresh salad from a special in-store garden, again located at three supermarkets in Belgrade.
The aim of this initiative, according to the retailer, is to promote the consumption of fresh vegetables.
