Serbian food retail chain Persu has refurbished its first store based on its new company standards.
The chain, which operates 130 neighbourhood stores across the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina, has opened a renovated outlet in its home town of Zrenjanin.
Besides a new visual identity, which has been significantly modified and updated, the store features a new product display plan, resulting in an increased sales area, to the benefit of clarity and easy orientation.
The intention is to establish intuitive movement through the store, facilitating the purchase experience of consumers, making it easier and more enjoyable.
In addition, new specially tuned lighting has been introduced, while shelves have been adjusted to the height of consumers. The retailer has also extended the range of in-store products.
The new standards will be implemented across all existing stores over the coming months.
Present in Serbia since 1998, Persu is part of DTL, a grouping of 13 small food retailers that jointly have over 450 stores. In addition, Persu markets its own private label brands Delikato (meat products), Belkino (milk products), To! (flour, soups, rice, musli, tea, pasta, canned fish), Hit (cleaning products) and Persu (bread, coffee).
