REWE Group has announced that fuel provider Shell has extended its partnership with Lekkerland for another five years in Germany.
Both companies have signed a new five-year contract, which will come into effect from 1 January 2021.
As part of the contract, Lekkerland will continue to supply goods to around 2,000 Shell fuel stations across the country.
'Meets Our High Requirements'
Retail marketing manager at Shell, Jan Reichel, commented, “With Lekkerland, we are relying on a partner who meets our high requirements, both in terms of assortments and products as well as consulting, service and logistics services.”
Shell is one of Lekkerland’s largest customers and both companies have partnered for decades.
In 2019, REWE Group acquired Lekkerland for an undisclosed sum to help boost sales of on-the-go meals and snacks.
