German retailer Edeka has launched a new pharmaceutical campaign, ‘Simply beautiful - inside and out’, which aims to promote the wide range of personal care products available in store.
In a press release to announce the launch, the retailer said that 'true beauty comes from the inside', through a balanced diet, as well as from the outside, through personal care.
The programme's ambassador is TV presenter Annemarie Carpendale, who will promote the idea of a 'perfectly balanced mix' of lifestyle and diet, with the application of suitable cosmetic products.
Edeka also announced that both it and Annemarie will be posting recipe ideas and care tips on all social media accounts, to further help and educate customers on 'true beauty'.
Edeka recently announced the takeover of the fruit juice producer Albi GmbH & Co. KG, which it acquired in order to enhance the retailer’s portfolio in this segment and complement its range. The acquisition includes its subsidiary, fruit juice producer Sonnländer.
