Italian supermarket chain Simply Italia (part of Auchan Group) has opened its first Simply City store in Milan.
The supermarket in the city center (located in Vincenzo Monti Street) devotes considerable space to fresh produce. The 260 square metre sales area features about 6,000 SKUs, thanks to the use of higher shelving and reduced facing.
The high level of service is especially evident in the fresh departments, with a broad and deep assortment of butcher-prepared and ready-to-eat products that the customer can enjoy in store at the Simply Café.
The store features several purchasing paths: ‘Verdenatura Bio” for organic products; “Gluten-free, lactose-free and cholesterol control” for items with special health benefits; “Source of Fiber" and "Lightness Plus” indicate particular healthy products; while “Flavors from the World” highlight tastes and flavours of other cultures.
