Dutch wholesaler Sligro Food Group has posted net sales of €2.39 billion for full-year 2019, which is up 2.1% on the previous year.
However, adjusted for acquisitions, sales at the business decreased 0.9%.
In the Netherlands, the business posted €2.17 billion worth of sales for the year, which was up from €2.13 billion the previous year, while in Belgium, sales totalled €229 million, up from €220 million.
In the fourth quarter of the year alone, sales in its Netherlands business were €593 million (2018: €563 million), while Belgium sales were €61 million, level with the previous year.
Acquisition
The second half of the year saw a €70 million sales boost relating to the acquisition of the De Kweker business in the Netherlands.
While total sales at the Netherlands business rose 1.9%, organic growth was down 1.4%, the group said.
Sligro will publish its complete full-year figures on 23 January.
