Spar Albania has opened a new supermarket in Tirana, which is the retailer's 15th store in the capital city.
The newest Spar store features the retailer's private label brands, a broad range of organic and gluten-free products, as well as specialty products from around the world.
The company says that the new 500 square metre supermarket aims to provide a new standard in customer service.
Retail Progress
The latest opening comes as the retailer is celebrating its first year of activity in Albania, with a number of customer promotions.
Spar Albania now operates over 30 stores across nine cities in the country, and plans to open at least 20 more next year.
Additionally, around 100,000 customers have already joined Spar's loyalty card programme in Albania.
The license for Spar in Albania is held by Almark, a company owned by the Balfin Group. Two store formats are present in the Balkan country - Interspar hypermarkets and Spar supermarkets.
