Spar Austria has announced that it is appointing Alexander Grill as the new head of logistics and merchandise flow at its headquarters in Marchtrenk.
Grill has a wide range of experience in the sector, both in Germany and abroad. He has worked at Spar for 15 years, most recently at its headquarters in Salzburg.
The logistics network that he will now oversee supplies approximately 1,500 Spar stores in Austria from six regional centres, with a focus on maintaining a steady supply of products, keeping transport routes short, and ensuring particularly fresh products.
"I am looking forward to the new tasks and am proud to be able to draw on the skills of my experienced team," said Grill.
