A new 18,300 square metre shopping centre in Tyrol, Austria, which will house a state-of-the-art Interspar hypermarket, is progressing on schedule, with a planned opening date for November this year.
That’s according to Spar Austria, which announced that construction on the new site is ‘progressing rapidly’, with the roof completed in the past week.
More Than Satisfied
Interspar regional director Andreas Reisch said that the company was “more than satisfied” with how the new site is coming together, with the company saying that the Tiroler Oberland, where the store is located, was until now a ‘blank spot on the Interspar map’.
The centre will boast a large Interspar hypermarket, boasting more than 50,000 items, as well as an Interspar restaurant. Approximately 180 employees are expected to be employed at the store, once it is up and running.
