Spar Austria apprentice Vanessa Graschi has received a national award for ‘outstanding achievements’, at a ceremony held in Kufstein (Austria). She is in her second year of a three-year retail-training programme, having completed her office training at the Spar headquarters in Wörgl.
A total of 57 trainees from the district of Tirol received their certificate at the ceremony.
"Vanessa represents the many young talents at Spar", commented Christof Rissbacher, CEO of Spar Austria, adding, "Our apprentices are the leaders of tomorrow, so we naturally invest a lot in their training."
There are more than 600 apprenticeships available in Tirol, in which around 1,700 people are trained - 180 of which trainees are aiming for a career in retail at Spar Austria.
The company offers 13 different apprenticeships in retail and management. Apprentices can avail of a comprehensive in-store training and seminars on retail management at the Spar ‘Academy’ in Kufstein.
