Those holidaying in campsites in the southeast of France can now avail of a delivery system whereby they can order groceries to be brought to their accommodation through a new service called Spar Lib’.
Shoppers make purchases online and pay with a Spar Lib’ card which they receive at the beginning of their camping trip. About 50 camping sites have adopted the Groupe Casino subsidiary’s holiday-shopping system.
For a transaction to be processed, customers must spend at least €20 on a delivery. Customers can choose to either collect their goods at a nearby Spar outlet, or have them delivered to their holiday location.
Spar offers over 1,500 SKUs via the service.
