Spar Hungary has announced that it has opened a new supermarket in Budapest as part of its store modernisation and expansion plans.
The outlet is equipped with LED lighting and state-of-the-art cooling systems that ensure a reduction in energy consumption.
The store is operated by a team of 28 employees, and offers self-checkout units for a modern shopping experience.
The store includes a 'Spar to Go' section with a large selection of sandwiches, salads, warm meals, and desserts.
The deli counter, salad bar, and bakery section follow an open, transparent design to highlight the food on offer.
Store Renovation
The retailer has also opened its renovated store in Tatabanya, featuring a new interior and exterior design.
The new store offers a larger fruit and vegetables department and a revamped delicatessen counter in the bakery section.
Spar Hungary has also installed new equipment and furniture in the store for better showcasing of products and promotions.
The store has been equipped with energy-saving cooling and lighting technologies to make its operations more sustainable.
