Spar Ireland has invested more than €1 million in a new advertising campaign, launched to promote its 'Spar Better Choices' initiative.
The concept behind the Spar Better Choices initiative is about encouraging consumers to stay healthy by making the right decisions about their diet and lifestyle. Working with dietitian Ellen Roche, Spar has selected a healthier product range to help its customers makes the right decisions.
Two new ads, launched as part of the campaign, feature Irish soccer player Seamus Coleman and model Claudine Keane and focus on the choices they have made in their lives.
The ads aim to inspire others to start making positive choices regarding their diet, for instance by swapping a chocolate bar for a healthier snack.
Willie O’Byrne, managing director of BWG Foods - which owns and operates Spar Ireland - commented, "We feel passionate that eating well should be a priority and that with the Spar Better Choices offering, our customers can expect to find the right choice for themselves under the tree at Spar."
