Spar Netherlands has continued its roll-out of stores located on university campuses, with the opening of two new outlets in Eindhoven and Delft.
The outlet in Technical University Eindhoven - Spar's second store at the college - is located near student accommodation at the core of the campus, and has a focus on ready to eat products, as well as a wider grocery range.
The retailer says that this is a welcome addition, as its existing store in another student area is mainly targeted at 'Grab & Go' products.
Meanwhile, Technical University Delft has seen the introduction of its first Spar store.
Spar says that both outlets focus on meeting the needs of university employees, students and passers-by, and promote sustainability and healthier eating. They also feature an online service through the Spar University app.
