Spar has launched four new stores in Poland in the space of one week, with outlets opening in Tychy, Zabrzeg, Konin, and Szydłów.
The franchise stores are all in a convenience format, ranging from 200 to 470 square metres in size.
The retailer says that four more store openings are also in the pipeline, and in early September, a new Eurospar supermarket in Kokoszyce is set to launch.
Continued Development
Spar Poland says that this has been 'a busy summer of expansion'. This year alone, the retailer has opened 21 new stores, which it says proves 'the potential for growth in what is the biggest market in central Europe'.
Apart from growing store numbers, Spar Poland has also been developing its own private label range, with the introduction of more healthy snack options, and a variety of pet food products.
