Swiss retailer Migros is set to reopen its branch in the Rätia-Centre in Davos Platz following a five-month renovation on 6 December.
The refurbished Migros Davos Rätia will present a wider range of products and fresh produce, in a more customer-friendly store layout.
A new feature of the refurbished branch is a 500 square-metre supermarket, located on the ground floor of the Rätia-Centre. In addition to tills, its checkout area features 'self-checkouts' to save the customer time.
"We are a mixed team of experienced employees and everyone is looking forward to the new store, the clientele and the season," said branch manager Manuel Caduff, who had previously worked as a deputy branch manager and head of 'food and fresh produce' at Migros Rätia, commenting on his team of ten sales assistants.
Migros will mark the reopening of the Davos branch by giving customers 'a sweet surprise' and a 10% discount on shopping, from 8 to 10 December.
The company also announced in October that it was refurbishing the Gossau branch in spring of 2017.
Migros is Switzerland's largest retailer. The company is structured as a cooperative and is the country's largest employer.
