Tesco has announced Tracey Clements as its new Managing Director for Convenience and CEO of One Stop, after it was revealed previous convenience boss Tony Reed would step down earlier this month.
Clements’ responsibilities will now include developing Tesco’s convenience offer through its network of Metro, Express and One Stop convenience stores across the UK.
Having joined the company in 2002, Clements has held several roles within the company, playing a key role in the development of Tesco’s Express format both as a Store Director and through her leadership of the Express Central Team.
She has also spent time as Operations Development Director and Support Office Director, before her most recent role as Customer Strategy and Insight Director.
Tony Hoggett, UK Retail Director at Tesco commented, "I’m delighted to confirm that Tracey Clements has been appointed as the Managing Director for Convenience and CEO of One Stop.
"Her wealth and breadth of experience will support the teams in developing this key part of our business as well as helping us serve our customers a little better every day."
