Tesco has set up pop-up Hangover Help stations in three of its UK stores today, December 11th, to help perk up bleary-eyed commuters after what was expected to the busiest nights for office Christmas parties.
The pop-ups were placed at Canary Wharf, Bishopsgate and Monument Metro stores to provide worse-for-wear commuters with “feel-good smoothies and life-saver juices”, as well as breakfast recipe cards.
London Convenience Director at Tesco, Rachel Jones commented, “We know many of our customers will have entered into the festive spirit last night so we’ll be helping them get through the morning with delicious smoothies that give you a lift and leave you feeling fresh.
“We’ll also be serving Virgin Bloody Marys which should help our customers feel fresh and re-hydrated.”
Smoothies on offer included The Kickstarter, which includes melon, pineapple and fresh ginger designed to help weary customers get through the day.
