The Tetra Laval Group Board has appointed Adolfo Orive as the chief executive officer and president of Tetra Pak, effective 1 April 2019.
He will replace Dennis Jönsson, who stepped down from the position after 14 years at the helm.
Currently, Orive is the vice-president of the North Central and South American arm of the food packaging and processing company.
An Experienced Professional
He joined Tetra Pak in 1993, and became a part of the Tetra Pak Global Leadership Team in 2014.
He has held several top positions in the company including managing director of Colombia, Spain, and vice-president of North and Central Europe.
Orive has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Mexico's Ibero-American University (IBERO), and a master’s in business administration from Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM).
