Premium supermarket chain Booths has posted a 2.7% growth in like-for-like sales over the three weeks to 5 January 2020, according to a report in the Financial Times.
The company reported a total sales growth of 3.5% during this period, driven by orders from the Booths Christmas Book, which lists festive food and drinks produced by the company since the 1930s.
Commenting on the festive period sales, chief executive Edwin Booth said that the retailer "performed very well", the Retail Gazette reported.
Last year, the company saw a 3.3% increase in sales in the three weeks to 5 January 2019.
