Veganz, the market leader for vegan food in Germany, has relaunched as Veganz Group AG, according to a press release.
The move is part of the company's plan to prepare it structurally for further growth.
New Management Structure
Founder Jan Bredack will step in as the chief executive officer of the company.
Roland Sieker, former vice-president and member of the executive board of Unilever plc London, will assume the role of the chairman of the company's supervisory board.
Other members of the supervisory board include former Lidl UK CEO, Ronny Gottschlich; CEO of Katjesgreenfood, Manon Littek; Dr Martin Jager from Döhler Group; and former chairman of Berentzen Group AG, Stefan Blaschek.
Elsewhere, Anja Brachmüller will join the company's management board as operations director. Most recently, Brachmüller served as the COO of Veganz GmbH.
Mario Knape will step in as the finance chief of the company.
Sustainable Products
Veganz supplies around 165 sustainable SKUs to more than 15,000 stores in 26 countries.
Its product portfolio includes, among others, innovative food items such as cashew-based cheese alternatives and muesli with vegan lactic acid cultures.
Increased brand awareness in Germany and international growth have contributed to the company's growth and success since mid-2018.
