UK retailer Waitrose has opened a new convenience store outlet in Dubai, as it continues its partnership in the Middle East with Fine Fare Food Market.
This will be Waitrose's fourth shop in Dubai, and its ninth store in the United Arab Emirates, including the five located in Abu Dhabi.
“We’re seeing ever increasing demand for Waitrose products from global audiences - either from British people who have moved abroad, or from those who have heard about our great products," said Barry Delehanty, head of B2B growth and development at Waitrose.
"Our quality and provenance really appeals to the international market and we’re proud that our brand continues to retain the trust of customers wherever they are in the world.”
Store Features
The new store will offer a wide range of Waitrose products, including fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh meat, bakery, delicatessen, frozen, and non-food lines.
It will also feature a number of products from the 'essential Waitrose' and 'Waitrose 1' private label ranges.
The retailer says that Fine Fare Food Market will run the store's daily operation, supported by Waitrose in the UK.
