Waitrose & Partners has announced that it has entered into a new agreement with Kuwait-based hypermarket group City Centre, to sell its products in the country.
Around one hundred Waitrose products will be available in six City Centre outlets in Kuwait.
The range on offer will include teas, coffees, confectionery, jams, cereals and a range of oils, soups, pastas, and sauces.
'An Exciting Opportunity'
Waitrose & Partners head of B2B, Barry Delehanty, said, "We are proud that Waitrose & Partners continues to be recognised around the world for quality and this is an exciting opportunity to bring our products to a new audience."
The product range will include selections from its Duchy Organic range, as well as essential Waitrose, Waitrose & Partners Free From and Waitrose 1 own-label ranges.
It is the first time that the UK retailer will be selling its products in Kuwait directly through a retailer.

Coffee and peanut butter are likely to be among the most popular items with Kuwaiti customers, the company said.

The City Centre Group runs hypermarkets in Bneid Al Qar, Shuwaikh, Salmiya, Dajeej, Jahra and Dasma in Kuwait.
