Auchan has recalled a number of its Catalan sausage products, following the discovery of salmonella traces, in the private label SKUs.
Though only trace amounts of the bacterium have been discovered, there is a slight possibility that vertigo, diarrhoea and vomiting could be induced by eating the meat. The ‘Fuets Catalans’ SKU weighs 170 grams.
The affected packets, which carry a use-by date of 2 October 2016, have been removed from Auchan shelves. Reimbursement is available within Auchan outlets.
The relevant barcode is 3596710393893, and the supply chain number ES 10.01934/GE CE.
