The Fédération des Entreprises et Entrepreneurs de France (FEEF) has signed an agreement with the Casino Group which will see the retailer adopt trading practices more beneficial to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Casino regards this as an ethical move through which its customers can be assured that Casino’s products’ origins, and their production methods, are supportive of SMEs and conscious of their restraints and needs.
This involves the early paying of invoices, an internal independent mediation structure, and a more hands-on role for SMEs in the development of their SKUs in retail.
The FEEF, created in 1995, represents the interests of more than 700 independent or family-owned companies throughout France, particularly regarding their negotiations with large-scale retailers.
